PAINTBALL SAFETY BRIEFING AND GENERAL FIELD RULES


Disclaimer

This set of rules is not a comprehensive list of safety rules and guidelines for the use and ownership of Paintball Markers. This list is intended to assist the Owner and User in understanding the amount of responsibility that goes with owning one of these products. There is no substitute for common sense and discretion when utilizing one of these products.


1.    EYE PROTECTION


Approved goggles must be worn and kept in place at all times while the players are on the playing field

or chrono area.

If your goggles are knocked off during the games, cover your eyes with both hands, and call for a referee.

If a player removes their goggles while on the playing field, the referee will issue a safety warning.


2.    OPERATION OF PAINTBALL MARKER


All Markers will be chrono at 260 FPS

Markers may only be fired on the field or at the chrono area.  No shooting in safe area

No Blind Firing – You must looking in the direction you are shooting.

Do not shoot up in the air or shoot at lights, buildings or cars.

Excessive multiple “HIT” by one shooter upon one player will not be tolerated.

(This applies to “HITS”, not the number of shot fired)

Players should avoid shooting at range closer then 10 feet.

Barrel socks on and markers decocked before the player is completely off the playing field.

(Referee will issue a warning for failure to comply)


3.   ELIMINATION


    A player is eliminated from the game when a paintball breaks and leaves a paint mark at least quarter

    size or large anywhere on the player or the player’s equipment.

    Splatter rule is not enforced (This means splatter from paintballs breaking on the bunker and the splattering on you do not count as a hit)


4.    ACTION TO BE TAKEN WHEN ELIMINATED


Loudly call “HIT!”. Once eliminated, the player must exit the game.

Eliminated players may not talk to live players.

Players may remove themselves from the game at any time by calling “HIT!”.


5.    REFEREE


The referee has the right to go anywhere on the playing field, players must yield to the referees.

The referee has precedence; all decisions made by the referee are final. Do not argue with the referee.

A referee may eject any player from the field for poor sportsmanship or interfering with the referee.


6.    PLAYER CONDUCT AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Absolutely no physical contact or foul language will be tolerated at any time.

Consumption of alcohol or use of drugs will be strictly prohibited at PSI xtreme Sports.


7.    Surrender Rule


Surrender is optional a player does not have to surrender they may chose to shot it out .

We advise you to surrender.
